Question and Answer: As an effort to be attentive to our time on Sunday evening, and also do justice to this *very* important question, we will only tackle this one question this evening: 1 Corinthians 10:13 is often used to illustrate that ‘God will not give us more than we can handle.’ But it doesn’t say that. It only addressed our temptation to sin. Will God allow us to encounter circumstances greater than we can bear? (Consider Job). If that’s true, what are we supposed to do, just have hope when we’re crushed in spirit?
