The Lakeview Children’s Ministry is very unique.
In addition to providing traditional Christian educational programs such as Nursery & Bible classes, we are committed to ministering to children from within the context of their culture (if it’s not Fun, they may not be learning)
We strive to make Lakeview Church of Christ, a place where children love to be! That doesn’t mean we are all about ‘fun’, we are about introducing kids to the Savior and helping them to lay a spiritual foundation that will last a lifetime. We are willing to teach in a manner that attracts kids and keeps them interested in pursuing their spiritual life.
At Lakeview, our Children’s Ministry or as well call it, KidMin, is volunteer-driven, but very active. For 2020 we have had to cancel normal events but hope to continue events in the future.
Events that are in the works for the remainder of the year include:
Trunk or Treat
This is both in InReach to our kids as well as an OutReach to the community we are a part of. This event provides a ‘Safe-Zone’ for having fun and getting lots of goodies. Parents/Adults can participate by decorating their vehicle trunks and giving out candy to kids. We also have food, a chili cook-off, games and fun activities for the kids.
Breakfast with Santa
Bring your kids to the Lakeview building to have breakfast and get their photos taken with Santa!
