The Lakeview Youth Ministry has about 35 teens from 7th-12th grade.
Our youth-programming is volunteer-driven, but very active. Most of it takes place at the Teen Cottage
(the little blue building nestled between the big white house, which is the Lakeview office,
and the rustic barn on the west side of our beautiful campus).
Teen Bible classes are on Sunday mornings @ 9:00 am with our Youth Ministry Deacon, Jeff Oden.
Wednesday Evening Small Groups @ 7:00 pm.
Our small groups are a great way for your teen to get to know other teens and adults at Lakeview.
Each Wednesday, we meet together and break into our small groups, all-girls & all-guys w/ 2 adult mentors.
Our teens are involved in various activities throughout the year, praising God, serving others & having fun with each other.
Some of the activities that take place are:
Retreats/Camps @ Delano Bay Christian Camp: Winter Retreat, Spring Retreat & Summer Camps
Service Projects: on the Lakeview campus, for Lakeview members and for others in the community.
Devotionals: times of Praise, Fellowship, Bible Study
Fun Events: snow tubing, going to a corn maze, enjoying game nights, having BBQs, playing outside games.
Mission Trips: every other summer they travel and work with Mountain State Children’s Home in Longmont, Colorado.
When they aren’t going to Colorado, they do a mission trip somewhere in the State of Washington.
If you would like to keep track of the youth schedule, as to be added to our email list: firstname.lastname@example.org, join the Facebook group and keep your eyes peeled on the back of the weekly bulletin for upcoming activities.
